Delores Irving Powell, 56, of Lynchburg passed away, Sunday December 13, 2009 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Delores was born November 4, 1953 to Mary B. Goode and the late Eugene Dent Irving.
Those left to cherish her memory including her mother are her three children, Francina Tinsley, Michael Charles and Rosa Lee Peyton; two sisters, Rose Hausen and Peggy Jones; two brothers, Otis Irving and Hiawatha Irving; nine grandchildren, Christopher Charles, DeAngelo Charles, Anthony Tinsley, Xavier Reaves, James Hunter, Michael Charles, Jr, Kierra Charles, Krystal Charles and Mia Charles and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Sherman Flowers officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
