It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce that Daniel Lee Silver of Virginia Beach, Virginia gained his Heavenly wings. He retired from the United States Navy.

Daniel will be forever missed by his loving wife, Latisha Spencer-Silver. He is also survived by his father, Earl Silver, and mother, Reverend Alice Silver; sister, Zina Jackson (Roger) of Lynchburg, VA; brother, Greg Silver of Lynchburg, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Daniel was incredibly passionate about hard work and being at your best. He was always supportive and spoke positively in all situations. In addition to serving in the United States Navy, he was a dedicated employee of Hampton Road Transit and worked as a Lightrail Safety Specialist.

He loved his family as they were everything to him. He is irreplaceable and will forever be missed.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, April 01, 2023, at Bethany Baptist Church. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
