Daisy Gwendolyn (Genny) Fisher, 61, departed her life on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on January 16, 1955 in Nelson Country to the late George Gilbert Taylor and Martha Turner Taylor.
She was a member of Mt. Eagle Baptist Church in Nellysford, VA.
Daisy received her education in the Nelson County Schools. She was a hard and devoted worker in food services. In addition she forever opened her home to feed and care for many she knew until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Lynwood and Adolphus (Junior) Crawford; two sisters, Margaret Taylor White and Reverend Mildred Ann Crawford White.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Herbert Fisher; one son Alphonso E. Goodwin (Priscilla), of Greensboro, NC; two daughters, Veronica L. Campbell (Corey), of Madison Heights and Serena N. Goodwin, of Lynchburg; one brother, Preston Taylor, of Waynesboro, VA; one grandson, Malik Kourkoulakos, three granddaughters, Kenisha Campbell, Aureeon Goodwin, Da`Vanica Napper and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
