Cynthia Denise Bailey, 59, of Lynchburg passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 after a long illness. She was born February 2, 1956 to Louis H. Bailey and Jean D. Bailey.
She attended Lynchburg Public Schools and worked as an aide for the old Lynchburg Nursing Home, was a caregiver for children and she also worked in restoration for Kidd's Carpet.
Cynthia accepted Christ and joined Crusader for Christ Ministries on July 26, 2014.
In addition to her parents she is survived by two devoted daughters, Latrice M. Tucker and Evonia L. Bailey; eight grandchildren, Dominique Lewis, LaToya Tucker, John Tucker, Jamik Bailey, Ahmaud Bailey, Shakella Bailey, Jasmine Rolle (Travier) and TaJah Humble; six great-grandchildren, Daryl Lewis, Jr. Drake Lewis, Serenity Brown, Antionne Brown, Jordan Brown and LaHarmoni Tucker; two sisters, Deborah B. Stamps (Danny) and LaSandra L. Bailey; four brothers, Louis H. Bailey, III, Gary A. Bailey, Gregory E. Bailey and Michael Jennings and a host of nieces, nephew, relatives, friends and a loving partner, Solomon Mutz.
