Curtis Freemond Nowlin
On Tuesday June 26, 2012 at 9:30 PM Curtis passed away at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was born July 26, 1929 to the late Horace and Etta Nowlin. He was also preceded in by three sisters, Theresa Nowlin, Margaret Mitchell and Geraldine Johnson and a brother, Lacy Nowlin.
He joined Silver Grove Baptist Church at an early age.
Curtis leaves to cherish his memory a devoted sisters, Doris Clark, of Rustburg, Lillian Robinson, of Rustburg and Hallie Spencer, of Baltimore MD and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 30, 2012 in the First St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Jack Wilson, officiating. Friends and family will be received at the home of Doris Clark 469 Brookneal Hwy, Rustburg and please no food. Condolences may be sent to www.Davis-Turner.com.
