Cecil W. Lewis, 64, of Madison Heights, passed unexpectedly on April 30, 2022, at home surrounded by family. Born in Lynchburg, January 14, 1958, he was the son of Reverend Charles W. Lewis, Sr. and Geneva (Colmore) Lewis of Madison Heights, VA.

Cecil graduated from Amherst County High School, Class of 1976. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Navy where he was an Aircraft Mechanic and Electronics Technician. He was a jack of all trades and mastered many. There was no problem too big for him to solve; the bigger the challenge, the better he liked it.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Nathan Donigan; four sisters, Carolyn Carter (Ronald), Aquanda Watts (Reverend Wendell Watts, Sr.), Clarice and Angela Lewis; two brothers, Deacon Charles Lewis, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Turner Lewis; nephews and nieces; many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and loved ones.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 07, 2022, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service on 1016 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24504 and 434-846-9011. Mr. Lewis will be on view one hour prior to the service. MASKS are required. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
