On June 3, 1969 Cecil Antonio Bateman entered this earth and on April 16th 2017 he departed his earthly home to transition to his Heavenly home.
Over the past few years Cecil has fought a long and hard battle with this heart disease and God said enough and called him home.
Cecil was a great son, brother, father, uncle and friend. Cecil was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Corrine Bateman and his father, Owen Lovelace.
He leaves to cherish his life, his mother, Seagpher Bateman; one son, Trevor Antonio Bateman; three brothers, Brannigan Bateman and Pierre Tisdale (Crystal), both of Lynchburg; his brother, Christopher Lovelace; one sister, Michelle Lovelace, both of MD; two special devoted aunts, Denise Bateman (Bobby) and Doreathea Cabell (William); his fiancée`, Shelly Hicks and Papa Cecils; special grandchildren he loved to the moon and back and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
