Carolyn Jones departed this life on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at her residence. She was born on September 3, 1950. She was the daughter of the late William Lewis, Sr. and Marie Turner Osborne.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Bolling Hill Baptist Church and later moved her membership to First Baptist Church, Coolwell, VA. Carolyn was educated in the Amherst County School System and graduated from Central High School. She later moved to Orlando, Florida and was employed with Martin-Marietta. When her health began to fail she returned home.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosa O. Morgan and Lillie Thomas; one brother, William (Mutt) Lewis Osborne, Jr.; and one nephew, Jerome La'Shawn Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Reverend Lloyd Jones; three sons, Thomas L. Lee of Jacksonville, FL, Kevin D. (Lorena) Stewart, and Anthony A. Stewart, both of Orlando, FL; one brother, David Osborne; two sisters, Margaret (Reverend James D.) Braxton, and Sandra Johnson; and one sister-in-law, Peggy B. Osborne. Six nephews, five nieces, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of stepchildren, relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
