Carolyn Davis Bowling, 69, gained her wings on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Beacon Place in Greensboro, NC. She was born July 11, 1951 to the late John and Bertha Davis. She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Ann Davis and brother, Garnell Lincoln Davis.

She is survived by two daughters, Patrice Rucker and Monica Bowling of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Maurice (Ann) Davis of Amherst, VA and Wayne Davis of Kansas, Missouri; two sisters, Brenda Anthony of Lynchburg, VA and Juanita Elliott of Madison Heights, VA; four grandchildren, Brittany, Lamarr, and Karlo Rucker, and Ebony Bowling all of Greensboro, NC; seven great-grandchildren; Podrea and Zaria Jackson, Kamarri, Ka'Siya, Katlin, and Kavion Rucker all of Greensboro, NC, Kameron Rucker of Massachusetts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service with Rev. Troy Anderson, Eulogist. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the St. Mary's Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive family at the residence.
