Carl Lewis Napier, Sr. departed this life on last Thursday, October 27, 2016, at his residence. He was the son of the late Betty Napier Ferrell. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Geneva; a stepfather, John (Alma); six children: Carl, Jr. (Lisa); Debra, Violeree, Janice, Ronnie and Linda (Michael). A stepdaughter, Charlene (Darrell); 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; three step-grandchildren; a brother and three sisters; two sister-in-laws and hosts of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2016 at Rivermont Baptist Church with the Pastor Rev. Byron J. Elliott, officiating and Rev. Debra Napier Thompson, as Eulogist. The interment will be in the Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Spout Spring. The family will receive friends Friday, From 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Davis Turner Funeral Service.
