Cameron "Cam" Nicholas Long, age 20, of 628 Addie Way, Lynchburg, Virginia, went home on January 30, 2016. He was born October 13, 1995 to Richard and Jacqueline Long. Cameron was born in Lynchburg, Virginia at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was raised in Concord, Virginia. He graduated from Rustburg High School in 2013. While attending Rustburg he played basketball and went on to Ferrum College to further his education and to continue his basketball career for three years.

Cameron is preceded by his maternal grandmother Barbara Ann Ussery and his great-grandparents Wade and Minnie Bell Haynes and Robert and Daisy Ussery. Cameron is also preceded by his paternal great-grandparents Owen and Virginia Pinn and George and Louise Long.

Cameron is survived by his "Pops" Richard Anthony Long, Sr. and Mama aka "Shawty" Jacqueline Marie Ussery Long of Lynchburg, Virginia; his older brother R. Anthony "AJ" Long, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, and his older sister Tabitha Justina "Sis" Long of Lynchburg, Virginia. His closest older cousin/brother Army Specialist Gregory Owen Long, Jr. of Fort Campbell, Kentucky. His maternal grandfather Elder Charlie F. Ussery, Sr. of Shelby, North Carolina; were Cameron is the youngest of fifteen grandchildren. His paternal grandparents Richard and Connie Long of Lynchburg, Virginia; Cameron is the middle grandchild of seven. Cameron is survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his "Squad".
