Calvin Julius Hubbard, age 68, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025. Julius was born on May 31, 1957, in Long Island, Virginia to the late James and Bessie Hubbard. He graduated from William Campbell High School, Naruna Virginia.

Julius was the beloved son of a proud and loving family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, cherished brother, and devoted friend.

Julius is survived by his children, Terra Calloway, Kennesha Hopkins, Kennita Hopkins, and Cameron Patterson; stepsons, Jose' Santos and Isaiah Santos; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Julius was the cherished brother of James E. Jones (deceased), Sharon Snead (husband, Stanley), and Gloria Robinson (husband, William). He is also survived by his many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and devoted long-time friends.

From an early age Julius showed an incredible ability to connect with people through his humor, kindness, and natural warmth. He will be remembered for his warm smile, infectious laugh, and the joy he brought to everyone around him.
