On Sunday March 17, 2019 while surrounded by family and close friends Bonnie Gail Mitchell went into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Bonnie was born April 20, 1955 to the late Robert, Sr. and Elizabeth Mitchell.

She was also was preceded in death by four brothers, Ed, William, Robert, Jr. and Jeffery Mitchell and one sister Jacqueline Mitchell Adams.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted son Sean Cordel Mitchell of Gladys; two devoted grandsons, Omar Cordel Mitchell and O`maundere Zarion Harris of the resident; four sisters, Patricia Alexander, Martha Gibert, Shirley Fitzgerald (Sterland) and Brenda Mitchell; two sisters-in-law, Rev. Evelyn Mitchell and Gwendolyn Mitchell; four uncles; four aunts; a special friend, Deborah Peters and the Peters Family and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 23, 2019 at First St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church 2366 Brookneal Hwy, Rustburg with Rev. Allen Pannell, officiating.  The interment will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at 211 Smyth St., Lynchburg.  Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
