Barbara Henry departed this life on April 27, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by her husband, Pernell Henry, Sr.; daughter, Lynda Ann Brown Banks; and great-grandson, Christopher Lee Haskins.

She is survived by 5 children, Veronica Perkins (Lynchburg, VA), Sheryl Morris (Durham, NC), Pernell Henry, Jr. (Richmond, VA), Langford Henry (Lynchburg, VA) and Verna Henry (Lynchburg, VA); 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held 3PM Saturday, May 01, 2021 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service with Rev. Byron J. Elliott, officiating and Rev. Aloysious Nowlin, Eulogist. COVID precautions will be in place. Please wear a mask. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
