Barbara Freeman Helm, of Lynchburg passed away, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born Dec. 12, 1949 to the late Edward Freeman and Rebecca Adams Freeman.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, George Edward Helm, of Lynchburg, Edgar L. Helm (Zandra) of Farmville and Wesley C. James, of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Aurelia Helm, of Lynchburg, Cordero Snead, of Clifton Forge, and Lesley James, of Lynchburg; two sisters, Carrie Pannell, of Lynchburg and Brenda West, of Randallstown, MD; three brothers, Earl Freeman, McArthur Pannell and John Pannell, all of Lynchburg; two great grandchildren, Khalia Saunders and Trevon Hall both of Lynchburg; two devoted friends, Yvette Copeland and Nancy Davis, both of Lynchburg and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Christ Temple Church with Pastor Norman Wade officiating and Elder Cleveland Joyner, as Eulogist.
