Obituary

Celebrating the Marvelous Life of Antoinette LaWane Dillard fondly known to her loved ones, family, and friends as "Peaches". Peaches was born on July 18, 1975. Antoinette lived life on her own terms and was always a free, vibrant spirit. She departed her worldly life on July 13, 2023. Leaving many to love and cherish her memory. Her children, De'Andre Banner and Justin Dillard; granddaughter, Dior Pearson; mother, Cathleen Booker Dillard (Stephon); siblings, Stewart Booker and Charles Dillard, Jr.; and step-grandfather, James "Pop" Brown, Sr. Also, a very loving cousin, Elmo Garland; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends throughout her years of life from being born and raised in Gladys, VA to where she lived her life in Lynchburg, VA, and continued on to Washington, DC where she lived out her remaining days.

Peaches was preceded in death by her father, Charles Dillard, Sr.; siblings, Gracie Yvette Dillard and Charlie Dillard; maternal grandparents, Evelyn Johnson Booker and Willis Earl Booker; paternal grandparents, Elizabeth Copley Dillard and Thornton Randolph Dillard; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Peaches will always live on in our thoughts, memories, and in our hearts.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Baptist Cemetery, 320 Wiggington Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
